In the last two months, our latest 2021-2022 cohorts of Jordanian grantees started their travels to the United States and began their Fulbright awards across more than twelve States.
The Binational Fulbright Commission in Jordan is excited to welcome our newest Jordanian grantees across the different awards for the academic year of 2021-2022. Each year, the Commission continues to promote its different opportunities for Jordanians to study, teach, or conduct research in the United States of America through its core programs.

For the 2021-2022 application cycle that ran between February and June of 2020, the Commission received a large number of applications across the different programs, and after a detailed review and consideration, 23 Jordanians were successfully nominated and granted the different Fulbright awards.
Jordanian Fulbright Foreign Student Scholarship (Master’s Degree)
Ten Jordanians were awarded a fully-funded scholarship to pursue their Master’s degree in the United States across different disciplines and fields of study. Some of the fields included Master’s in English, Engineering, and Sustainable and Renewable Energy.
My first day on campus was very memorable. With buildings dating back to as early as 1791, there is so much history to admire in this place! After a tour with other international students, I knew the next couple of years at University of Vermont- Montpelier (UVM) are going to be memorable.

Jordanian Fulbright Scholar Research Award (Post-Doctoral)
Nine Jordanian Scholars were awarded this grant to spend 4 to 9 months conducting research at an American University or Institution in the United States. The scholars will be carrying on their proposed research and sharing their expertise and knowledge on topics ranging from Information Technology to Organic Chemistry and Hydrogeology.
Foreign Language Teaching Assistant (FLTA) Award
Four Jordanians were selected to take part in this multi-layered program teaching Arabic as primary or secondary teachers at different American universities, as well as enroll in classes themselves on topics of their choosing.
Here, your goals became clearer and more specific. This experience gives you greater control of your future. At the professional level, improving my teaching skills and gaining experience every day in each class or event is my goal.
