Fulbright Jordan Welcomes New U.S. Fulbright Scholars

In the month of September, Fulbright Jordan welcomed two Fulbright Scholars to start their research and lecturing awards in our newest cohort of 2021.

After more than a year of no American grantees due to the global pandemic, the first week of September was a special one at Fulbright Jordan as we welcome our newest American Scholars starting their Fulbright U.S. Scholar Awards in Jordan. The American Programs team organized and held a 3-day orientation program to support and prepare the grantees for their time in Jordan with the start of their respective awards. The orientation included many sessions that included ones about Jordanian culture, safety and security, as well as a time to meet with American Fulbright Alumni to share their experience.
