The Fulbright Commission in Jordan is pleased to warmly welcome the 2023 U.S. Fulbright cohort who recently arrived in Jordan to start a remarkable journey of cultural exchange and building bridges of mutual understanding.

From September 3 to September 7, the Fulbrighters participated in an intensive in-country orientation program that was designed to introduce the grantees to the cultural and social fabric of Jordan. This comprehensive week-long program included a range of engaging sessions focused on introducing them to Jordan and preparing them for their upcoming Fulbright experience in Jordan. Sessions included panels and talks by Jordanian alumni and Americans living in Jordan, sessions on culture and diversity, a session on Islam, practical tips, and many more.

During this exciting week, the Fulbright Commission held a welcome dinner where the board of directors, university representatives, and American and Jordanian alumni gathered to welcome the grantees to Jordan.

The Fulbright Commission in Jordan eagerly looks forward to the achievements and enduring impact that this cohort will assuredly have during their year in Jordan.
